The Grande Panda marks the brand’s return to the B-segment, where FIAT has been top player for decades, with more than 23 million vehicles sold across Europe. Stellantis presents the car, built on a global multi-energy platform and designed in Turin at the FIAT Style Center.
The first model in the new FIAT family will be available in hybrid and electric versions and will arrive in Italian dealerships starting in March 2025. The hybrid version is equipped with a 1.2-liter, 3-cylinder, 100-hp turbocharged engine, a 48-volt Li-ion battery pack, and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (eDCT), which includes the 21-kW electric motor, inverter, and central transmission unit. With a 44 kWh battery and an 83 kW (113 hp) electric motor, the electric Grande Panda offers a range of 320 km (200 miles) in the combined WLTP cycle, making it ideal for daily city use and weekend trips. Fiat Grande Panda electric reaches a top speed of 132 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 50 km/h in 4.2 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 11 seconds).
With this electric version, FIAT has prioritized one of its core values: accessibility. βThe electric features of the new model allow the brand to offer a modern and attractive yet competitively priced vehicle designed for those who want to take part in the transition to electric without making a big investment,β Stellantis explains.
The new global model is equipped with a standard DC fast charging port, offering a charging power of 100 kW, completing a charge in 27 minutes. Also the first car on the market, it has an integrated, retractable AC cable in the front, capable of charging up to 7 kW, completing a 20% to 80% charge in 4 hours and 20 minutes. Alternatively, an 11 kW rear charging port is available upon customer request, with a 20% to 80% charge time of 2 hours and 50 minutes.
