In a symbolic ceremony held recently in Rome, in front of the Provincial Command headquarters, the first fully electric Jeep® Avenger was officially handed over to the Carabinieri. This vehicle is part of a broader supply of 176 units that will be integrated into the Carabinieri’s national fleet for territory surveillance and operational deployment.

The Jeep® Avengers are equipped with a second-generation, high-efficiency 400V electric motor, delivering 115 kW (156 hp) and 260 Nm of torque. As the first zero-emission vehicle from the Jeep brand, the Avenger offers up to 400 km of WLTP-certified range, which extends to 550 km in urban driving conditions. The model, born from the Jeep Design Studio in Turin, embodies Jeep’s rugged DNA in a compact, B-segment SUV platform designed for both urban and suburban deployment.

The first batch of 46 vehicles will be deployed across Carabinieri stations in Rome, supporting operations during the 2025 Jubilee of the Catholic Church. The remaining 130 vehicles will be assigned to units in major Italian cities, particularly in areas with stricter environmental regulations.

These vehicles feature Jeep’s signature Selec-Terrain® and Hill Descent Control systems, ensuring optimal performance even on challenging terrains. With a compact length of 4.08 meters and a turning radius of just 10.5 meters, the Avenger is well-suited for urban mobility and rapid response tasks.

This supply reinforces the ongoing collaboration between Stellantis and the Carabinieri, highlighting the Group’s commitment to providing high-performance, low-impact solutions that meet the demanding requirements of public safety and civic service.
