Japanese company Suzuki has unveiled e-Address, its first electric scooter designed for urban mobility. Production, by Suzuki Motorcycle India Private, will begin in March 2025 and sales will start in April 2025, but the company lets it be known that there are plans to push beyond India, the country where it will currently be sold.
This is the first in a series of electric scooter models that Suzuki will launch by 2030.
Suzuki has not unveiled details about the engine and performance at this time, but that the model will have a battery with LFP (lithium-iron-phosphate) cells, LED headlights and turn signals, it will have a keyless system and a color instrument display with smartphone connectivity, and the under-seat compartment will have a capacity of 17 liters.
Other information relates to the regenerative braking system and three riding modes, among which “Eco” will allow optimization of energy consumption to ensure a longer range.
