Škoda Auto has officially launched production of the updated Enyaq family, marking a new chapter for the Czech automaker’s third fully electric model. The new Enyaq, which follows the debut of the Elroq, becomes the second series production vehicle from Škoda to adopt the company’s Modern Solid design language—an aesthetic that emphasizes strength, practicality, and authenticity. The latest Enyaq features enhanced aerodynamics aimed at increasing driving range, a more sustainable interior using eco-friendly materials, and updated digital systems designed to improve user experience. Production is now underway at Škoda’s main plant in Mladá Boleslav, where the manufacturing line is capable of building up to 300 Enyaq family vehicles per day. Michael Oeljeklaus, Škoda Auto Board Member for Production and Logistics, highlighted the significance of the milestone: «The start of production for the new Enyaq family is a very special moment for our teams. The Enyaq originally represented a major breakthrough in our transition to electromobility, laying the groundwork for many of the processes we now have in place. We have extensively upgraded our production facilities, enabling us to build both fully electric vehicles and our best-selling Octavia on the same line.»
