MOONS’ has introduced the AW series of IP65-rated stepper motors, now available in the UK through its partner Mclennan.
These robust motors are designed for demanding environments, including industrial settings. With enhanced surface protection, they offer excellent resistance to wear, scratches, and abrasions.
The AW series is available in NEMA frame sizes 17 to 34, providing holding torques from 0.31 to 10.3 Nm. They feature advanced windings for smooth, high-torque performance across a wide speed range, and low-inertia rotors for rapid acceleration. Optional accessories include brakes and 1000-line optical encoders for precise position feedback. Reliable M8 or M12 connectors ensure long-term durability.
Mclennan complements the AW series with its STF intelligent microstepping drives, supporting interfaces like EtherCAT and CANopen. These drives offer advanced features such as multi-axis synchronization and local machine control using Applied Motion Controls’ proprietary ‘Q’ programming language.
With in-house design and production expertise, Mclennan provides tailored motion control solutions, helping customers optimize performance while maintaining high reliability and quality.
