Dacke Industri has successfully completed the acquisition of 98 percent of G-TEK AB, a provider of optimal Powerpack installations for mobile vehicle OEMs throughout Northern Europe.
“The strategic acquisition of G-TEK enhances growth by expanding our comprehensive offering to OEM customers. This acquisition is in line with our long-term ambition to grow together with companies that specialize in their own products and customized components and systems”, said the company.
Known for its dedication to excellent technical solutions and exceptional service, G-TEK serves a variety of industries, including mining, material handling, forestry, defense and railways. Customers are primarily premium vehicle manufacturers, many of whom are global top players in technological innovation.
“It is very exciting to take this step forward for the future of G-TEK and become part of Dacke Industri. Dacke Industri is a very strong and competent owner and together we see great possibilities to further develop and expand G-TEK’s business,” says Thomas Larsson, CEO and co-owner of G-TEK.
“With Dacke Industri stepping in as the new owner, G-TEK secures long-term ownership that will greatly benefit G-TEK’s customer base, suppliers and employees as G-TEK continues to grow and expand its current business in all segments. I could not wish for a better future for G-TEK AB,” says Johan Amnéus, former owner and president of G-TEK.
“The acquisition of G-TEK is another key step in our efforts to become an essential partner for OEMs, providing high-quality products to end users around the world. G-TEK’s customer base is exciting and operates in areas we know very well. By partnering with G-TEK, we are open to deeper cooperation with certain segments that we value highly and to which we know we can bring value. We are very pleased that Johan has seen the strengths we can bring to G-TEK in the long term,” says Lars Fredin, Group CEO and President of Special Technology at Dacke Industri and President of G-TEK.
