Introducing Consydera: The New European High-Tech Metalworking Group
A new name is shaping the future of high-tech metalworking: Consydera. Consydera brings together into a single European industrial group three Northeast Italian companies – Aussafer, Ramo, Laserjet – and the German company Hailtec. The group is offering a full range of high-value metalworking processes, from high-precision laser cutting, stamping to robotic welding, and can support customers from co-engineering to finished product manufacturing, with a business unit focused on electric motor prototyping. With nearly 500 employees, over €100 million in revenue, and a production footprint of 100,000 m² in 5 plants, Consydera serves 1,200 customers in 30 markets, offering a full range of advanced metalworking solutions.
It is the result of a growth and consolidation strategy promoted by 21 Invest, the European investment group founded and led by Alessandro Benetton, which, since its investment in Aussafer in 2020, has supported the integration of complementary companies to create a leading industrial hub.
Consydera has its roots in two powerful and symbolic words: “sideros” (iron) and “sidera” (stars)—elements representing the solidity of metal and the aspiration for excellence. The prefix “con-” highlights the value of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and a common direction toward an ambitious goal: bringing the steel processing industry to new standards of excellence.
Consydera Electric: Leading partner in prototyping solutions for electric motors
At the heart of Consydera’s innovation is Consydera Electric, the specialized division within the group, uniting the expertise of Aussafer and Hailtec to provide high-precision solutions for the electric motor and power electronics industries, including:
- High precision laser cut laminations (-/+ 5 µm)for e-motors, electrical rotating machines and hydro generators
- Assembled stator & rotor stacks, using laser welding or backlack bonding to enhance motor performance and efficiency.
- Prototyping of complete rotors and stators
- Prototyping and manufacturing of busbars, pins, and custom electrical components for e-mobility, battery systems, power electronics, also for racing, satellites and aerospace applications.
With cutting-edge laser technology, precision assembly, and rapid prototyping capabilities, Consydera Electric provides next-generation solutions for high-efficiency electric motors and power systems.

Giacomo Citossi, CEO of Consydera: «Consydera was born from the union of four companies that share the same values: people at the centre, a relentless drive for innovation, and continuous investment in advanced technologies.
